Toyota World Bristol North sponsor Filton Hill School Football Team.

Toyota World Bristol North have proudly handed over a brand new football kit to Filton Hill School Football Team.

Filton Hill School Football Team, which has gone from strength to strength this academic year, began as a weekly after school football club which invites all children of all abilities, having members from Reception class up to Year 6. From this squad a team has been chosen to enter the South Gloucestershire School’s League and Cup, which sees them playing competitively on a near weekly basis. The team has also entered a number of tournaments, in which they have already finished third on 2 different occasions. The squad also draws a Girl’s team, who compete in the South Gloucestershire Girl’s League (ran by Deputy Head teacher Carl Hornsby) and have also participated in a variety of tournaments. Deputy Head, Carl Hornsby commented “The School is incredibly grateful for Toyota World’s very generous sponsorship, and we look forward to next season where we will proudly wear the strip as we enjoy continuous and improved success”

Toyota World Centre Principal, Robin Lewis, commented “We are delighted to sponsor the Filton Hill School Football Team, we are always keen to get involved and help out in the local community and see this as a very worthy cause. They are a great bunch of kids with obvious ability and potential and we are proud to have them represent our name. We would like to wish Carl and the team all the best for next season and hope that they continue to go from strength to strength."
