Toyota World Tamworth sponsor St Giles Hospice Car
Toyota World Tamworth has presented St Giles Hospice with a silver Toyota Aygo, with distinctive St Giles Hospice branding, to use for essential day-to-day transportation work and to support the pro-active outreach work in the local community. Toyota World Tamworth Centre Principal Andrew Needham presented the car to Group Chief Executive Peter Holliday on Sunday 13th April at St Giles 25th Birthday Luncheon at The Old School House at Weeford.
Toyota World Tamworth Centre Principal Andrew Needham said, “We are delighted to support St Giles Hospice with a sponsored car and servicing. We chose the 1 litre VVT-I petrol engine Toyota Aygo because it ticks environmental and cost efficiency boxes. It has amazing fuel economy averaging 61 mpg and low emissions resulting in a road tax of just £35 per year. This provides low running costs for the hospice, in a highly specified car, including air conditioning; silver was an obvious choice to mark their 25th Anniversary. St Giles Hospice has touched many lives of our staff and customers in the Tamworth area and we look forward to a long association with them.”
Group Chief Executive Peter Holliday said,” We are always grateful for corporate support and I am truly amazed and delighted by the generosity of Toyota World Tamworth. The Toyota Aygo will certainly increase our efficiency and reduce our workload. We are very proud to be associated with Toyota World Tamworth and we thank everyone at the dealership for their support.”
