Toyota World Birmingham join forces with the Selco Birmingham Brummies!
Toyota World Birmingham have joined forces with the Selco Birmingham Brummies Speedway Team, securing a major new sponsorship deal which sees them become an official 2012 Team Sponsorship Partner.
Birmingham Brummies Commercial Manager Joe McLaughlin made an approach late last year – and Toyota World Birmingham Dealer Principle Andrew Needham quickly responded to get on board with the family friendly sport of Speedway.
Part of the sponsorship will see Selco Brummies boss Graham Drury arrive in style at all Birmingham’s Sky Sports Elite League matches in a gleaming new luxury Toyota Avensis vehicle, complete with distinctive livery.
Fresh from signing German ace Martin Smolinski (unveiled at Toyota World Birmingham), Drury said “I am pleased to drive and recommend cars from Toyota World Birmingham”.
After extending the list of the Brummies impressive sponsorship portfolio, McLaughlin said “We are delighted to welcome Toyota World Birmingham as an official Team Partner. We look to a long and mutually beneficial partnership with them”.
Chris Dennis, Toyota World Divisional Marketing Manager, commented, “We are delighted to have become an official Team Partner of the Selco Birmingham Brummies. It’s been our aim for a while to associate ourselves with an established, successful local sports team and none fit the bill more so than the Brummies. It’s a really exciting partnership and we look forward to a great working relationship with the whole team.”
Toyota World Birmingham is one of the largest Toyota centres in the UK but can offer a truly local service to personal and business customers with a full range of Toyota vehicles and support services from their established Fort Dunlop showroom, including new and used vehicles, finance and servicing.
The Selco Brummies are expected to announce a raft of further new, and extended, commercial arrangements shortly, including what is expected to be Speedway’s biggest ever `Media Partner` sponsorship.
