Lightbridge switch entire fleet to Prius!

Bethan Dowell, Business Centre Manager at Toyota World Cardiff is delighted to announce that Lightbridge Support Services Limited have decided to switch their entire fleet of 30 vehicles over to Prius and have chose Toyota World Cardiff as their preferred supplier.

Lightbridge Support Services Limited is a leading Company in the field of managed services, the UK¹s first supplier of Ambulance Make Ready services, specialist in infection control process for the NHS, University and College cleaning services along with Halls of Residence cleaning. Providers of outsourced manufacturing support services. With operations throughout the UK the Welsh based Company is currently expanding its operations and as part of its continuous efforts to reduce its impacts on the environment has select the Toyota Prius as the car for its management team.

An initial purchase of 4 will see the car tested by the Company with the potential for the whole fleet of 30 to be switched over to Prius over the next 5 years. Currently the Company operates Ford Mondeo as its fleet car however with increase tax burdens being placed upon employees and the need to reduce our impacts upon the environment and of course the continuously rising cost of fuel the Hybrid Toyota seemed the logical choice, with lower CO2 emissions reducing the tax burden for the individual, no road fund license or congestion charge and a high miles per gallon performance the Toyota was the obvious choice.

The Company selected Toyota World Cardiff as the supplier for its Toyota¹s due to the professional service levels and the help and assistance given when seeking a more efficient vehicle for the fleet.
