Anmol's iQ design comes to life!
On Friday 29th January, Colin Isaacs (Centre Principal), Darryl Evans (Sales Manager) and Chris Dennis (Marketing Manager) went along to Westbourne School in Penarth to launch a very special competition.
Toyota World Cardiff invited the pupils of Years 6, 7 and 8 to each design a 'Wrap' for the iQ. The wrap required an environmental theme to showcase the iQ's fantastic green credentials.
Darryl presented the competition to the very enthusiastic pupils, explaining the unique benefits of the iQ, answering questions and then allowing the children to get up close with the vehicle.
The entries were collected on Friday 5th March and then put on display in the showroom at Toyota World Cardiff, where customers were been invited to vote for their favourite. The entries were absolutely fantastic and all produced to a very high standard.
Aysha Elharhari (Art Teacher) brought the children down to the Showroom at Toyota World Cardiff on Thursday 18th March so that they could see their designs on display.
Finally, on Friday 30th April, Darryl Evans and Chris Dennis returned to Westbourne School to announce the Winner and 9 Runners-Up during the Schools Assembly.
The winning design was produced by Anmol Mahil, 13, and her proud parents were suprise guests at the Assembly to congratulate their daughter.
The competition was a huge success, with Toyota World staff and customers enjoying the experience as much as the pupils!
A big thank you to Ken Underhill (Headmaster) and Aysha Elharhari (Art Teacher) who were fantastic throughout.
We are hoping that this is the start of a promising relationship between Toyota World Cardiff and Westbourne School.
