The all-Electric city car, the Volkswagen E-up! maintains the compact look of the Volkswagen up! but it's zero emissions* makes it great for the environment. Not only that it is fun to drive and has impressive performance, achieving 0-62mph in just 12.4 seconds, with a range of up to 93 miles on one battery charge, then add a wide range of features and you have the ultimate city car.

The benefits of going electric mean that you will have reduced operating costs. The E-up! is full of features to ensure this becomes a reality. The recuperation technology allows energy normally lost when braking to be saved for later use.

When you buy an E-up you benefit from the Car-Net On-line Mobile Services app where you can remotely control selected features and also track information such as charging, driving characteristics, consumption and in car temperature.

* When the vehicle is in motion.

The E-up may be the smallest of the Volkswagen Electronic vehicles but the same can't be said for the details and features.

On the outside, it is clearly part of the Volkswagen range with large swept back headlights and the distinctive Volkswagen badge on the front of the bonnet. It's equipped with special 15 inch 'Tezzle' aerodynamic alloy wheels, which not only add a sporty touch but, more importantly, help to conserve energy.

On the inside the blue detailing continues with stitching on the leather trimmed steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake. which not only looks good, provides a better grip for added safety.

Plug in, Charge up and off you go...

To ensure your e-up! is always ready to go,there are a number of options that will enable the battery to have sufficient electricity.

The Charging cable connects to a standard main socket either in your house or at a public charging station. This takes approximately six to ten hours to fully charge the battery. Alternatively you can install a wall box at home. This reduces the charging time to less than six hours. The fastest option is to charge with a direct current from a public charging station using the Combined Charging System, taking only 30 minutes to charge 80% of the battery.
