Louise Steele (Guy Salmon Stratford) volunteers for 'The Cotswold Challenge' in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer

Volunteers at last year's Breakthrough Breast Cancer Trek

Louise Steele, Senior Sales Administrator at Guy Salmon Land Rover Stratford has volunteered to take part in this year's Cotswold Challenge in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer

This year, Louise will join other Breakthrough supporters to take part in 'The Cotswold Challenge' one of six UK Trekking Challenges during which volunteers will cover a gruelling 22 miles over 2 days, raising vital funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer's pioneering breast cancer research, campaigning and education work through sponsorship. The Cotswold Challenge takes place on the 14th - 16th August and follows a route along the Cotswold Way.

Breakthrough Breast Cancer
Breakthrough Breast Cancer is the leading UK charity committed to breast cancer research, campaigning and education.  It has established the UK’s first dedicated breast cancer research centre, The Toby Robins Breast Cancer Research Centre, in partnership with The Institute of Cancer Research.  Breakthrough also campaigns to keep breast cancer at the top of the public and political agendas, promoting education and awareness of the issue among the public, policy makers, health professionals and the media.

Louise says: "It may give all those who know me a huge laugh to know that I have signed up for the above, a 22 mile trek across the Cotswold Hills in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer, especially when you consider I have a well known aversion to most forms of exercise (especially climbing hills!) but sadly, most of us know someone who is affected in some way by this devastating disease".

With this in mind, Louise would really appreciate it if you would consider sponsoring her for any amount, large or small, as it will all go towards helping to fight against Breast Cancer through funding for research, campaigning and education. She has committed to raising a minimum of £250 so if you would like to contribute and get her sprinting up those hills for a brilliant cause, please log on to www.bmycharity.com/louisesteele to make a donation now.
