Guy Salmon Land Rover Coventry Deliver The Goods!

David Martin Managing Director of Guy Salmon Land Rover Coventry announced a “Local Community Award” initiative for 2008 and invited members of staff to put forward names of local charities, companies, groups and clubs who may benefit from some funding and assistance.  

One of the chosen charities from a huge list of nominations was “Day Breaks Kennels” whose name was put forward by Jenny. She was so thrilled that she got straight on the phone to Ruth with the good news and requested Ruth send a list of items they would like to help with the running of the kennels and to create awareness.  

After a few weeks and with the help of the dealerships Parts Manager Andrew Meads, a spin dryer, collars, muzzles a gazebo and name tags were all delivered to the kennels.

The dealership also sponsored a runner for the “human race” Kidney Kids Appeal.   Whilst handing over the goods and having a look around Jenny fell in love with one of the dogs and returned with her family the next weekend and rehomed a greyhound.  

David, Andy and Jenny commented on how well looked after and cared for the greyhounds are by such dedicated people.   Guy Salmon Land Rover Coventry hope to continue supporting “Day Breaks Kennels” in the future and wish them lots of success in rehoming such beautiful dogs.
