Guy Salmon Thames Ditton Host Jaguar Golf Day

GUY SALMON THAMES DITTON HOST 2011 JAGUAR GOLF DAY

Dealer Principal, David Edwards was delighted to host the 2011 Guy Salmon, Thames Ditton Loyalty golf day on a blustery day in June. Customers who purchased vehicles during 2010 were invited to bring a guest and take part in the betterball Stapleford Pairs Competition.

The event was held at the stunning Hampton Court Palace Golf Club and despite the pouring rain and relentless wind, 56 golfers braved the elements and enjoyed a challenging round of golf. Thankfully the rain stopped during the afternoon and the sun came out, which enabled guests to dry out and enjoy a delicious BBQ.

To add to the excitement cricket legend and Jaguar driver, Freddie Flintoff was on hand to help with the prize presentation; prizes were awarded for nearest the pin, longest drive, putting competition and 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for the golf pair’s competition. As well as winning golf shirts, champagne and golf accessories the top two players Chris Holt and Mike McGann won a complimentary 4-ball voucher giving them the opportunity to play a round of golf from a choice of many fantastic golf clubs, including the fabulous Loch Lomond.

Congratulations also go out to our other winners on the day who were Paul Basson and Mark Harris, who won second prize, Jack Clogg and Steve McDonald who came in third and congratulations to Ian Ellery for the nearest the pin, Mike Goodbun for the longest drive and Peter Coughtrey who won the putting competition. All of the golfers playing on the day were also treated to a complimentary club clean.

David Edwards commented “our annual golf day gives us an opportunity to socialise with our customers in a relaxed environment and enables us to see some familiar and new faces".
