Tollbar Volvo Warwick help Leamington Khalsa FC celebrate 40 years!
In February 2012 Leamington Khalsa FC celebrated their 40th anniversary as a local community football club.
The main event was a dinner and dance evening which was organised for the teams, their families and supporters in the local community, all who wanted to help celebrate the last 40 years of Leamington Khalsa FC.
Tollbar Volvo Warwick are keen supporters of the local football club and are very proud to have sponsored them for the last 4 years.
Leamington Khalsa FC was created in 1965 by a local resident Biker Singh. Entering the Leamington and District Sunday League in the 1970/71 season, Leamington Khalsa FC is now one of the oldest established and most respected clubs in this league.
“The very best of us as a community comes about by seeing the very best in individuals”. This is the philosophy that has underpinned 40 years of hard work and dedication by Khalsa FC. Over this time hundreds of people of all ages and cultures have come together, surrounded by strong and positive role models and have learnt key skills that undoubtedly helped them become worthy and welcome patrons of Leamington Spa.
Tollbar Volvo Warwick are very proud to be part of the ongoing story and look forward to many more years of supporting such a key team within their local community.- Return to listings
