Mercedes-Benz of Carlisle Splash Out for Special Care Baby Unit

Management at Mercedes-Benz of Carlisle weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty to help raise funds for the local Special Care Baby Unit at the city’s Cumberland Infirmary.

The event which took place on 27^th July, saw that customers at the Mercedes-Benz of Carlisle dealership at Rosehill, Carlisle were treated to a £5 car wash- all in the name of charity.

A fantastic £200 was raised which was then, as promised, matched by Mercedes-Benz of Carlisle bringing a total of £400.

“£400 is a great achievement for a very special cause” said Dealer Principal, Richard Fellows who took part in the charity car-wash day. “Here at Mercedes-Benz of Carlisle, we are always very happy to get involved with the local community – and this is a perfect example. The Special Care Baby Unit cares for babies born early, babies with breathing difficulties or feeding problems and babies with infection or abnormalities so it is indeed a very worthwhile cause.”
