Motorists enjoy taste of new model at Mercedes-Benz of Newbury

Mercedes-Benz of Newbury has provided local motorists with a mouth-watering preview of the sensational new E-Class Cabriolet.

Guests at the London Road retailer’s Finer Things Weekend on 6th and 7th March were able to feast their eyes on the new model ahead of its official UK launch at the end of the month and also sample the culinary skills of two TV celebrity chefs.

What to Eat Now’s Valentine Warner served up an array of delicious delights on Saturday, whilst Mike Robinson, star of Saturday’s Kitchen and Ready, Steady, Cook and whose Pot Kiln pub at Frilsham was the setting for the Heaven’s Kitchen series, demonstrated his talents in a temporary kitchen area set up in the showroom.

“Our weekend provided a great way of showcasing the completed E-Class family and we displayed the Cabriolet alongside the Saloon, Coupé and Estate models for the first time,” said Anthony Williamson, Mercedes-Benz of Newbury’s Dealer Principal.

“The event certainly whetted the appetite of our guests in more ways than one and has generated a number of positive enquiries and test drive requests for the E-Class Cabriolet.”
