We Got Ourselves A Convoy!

The smart of Swindon TEAM held a breakfast meeting at the Drakes Way dealership with customers and then headed off in convoy down the motorway with 17 smart cars. One of our customers took delivery of their new car that morning and signed their finance documents over a coffee and croissant then drove down with us !!

We arranged to meet up with our smart of Bristol convoy of 13 smarts at Reading services. After a quick comfort break and strong coffee our 30 car convoy headed off to Mercedes-Benz World down the M4 with much friendly horn tooting and waves from other motorists – they probably thought it was some French farmers protesting about fuel prices!!!

The car park at Brooklands was rammed with smart cars and enthusiasts all ready to celebrate the 10^th anniversary of smart in the UK. Goodie bags were given out, included gratefully received food and drink vouchers, which was appreciated by everyone.

From the smart car football match, face painting, competitions to a cake stall and events in the main building, there was plenty to entertain our customers and make it a very memorable brand event.

“Our smart TEAM did a fantastic job making the day a huge success – there was a real buzz about it and we have had really positive feedback from our customers” said Mike Fellows.

It was a really enjoyable and successful day – shared with over 4,500 smart owners and friends.
