The all-new Toyota World Cardiff launches in style!

On Thursday 19th May 2011, Toyota World Cardiff held an exclusive VIP Evening for selected loyal customers, staff, managment and key personnel from Toyota (GB) and Sytner Group.

The purpose of the evening was to celebrate the launch of the all-new, fully refurbished centre which is the first Toyota centre in the UK to house the stunning new Customer Hub Experience.

Jon Williams, Managing Director of Toyota (GB), took time out of his busy schedule to attend the evening and even said a few words.

Guests were welcomed with a Champagne/Cocktail reception and luxurious bowl food before being entertained by a Welsh Male Voice Choir.

There was also a charity auction for signed Cardiff Blues and Cardiff City shirts which raised £400 for the Japan Tsunami Appeal...Cardiff Blues captain Paul Tito was present to hand over the shirt.

The highlight of the evening though was the appearance of Sophie Evans who blew the crowd away with a fantastic performance. Local girl Sophie finished runner-up on last years ‘Over The Rainbow’ programme on BBC One. Since then she has gone on to become the star of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Wizard of Oz playing Dorothy on the West End Stage and we were delighted that she could attend.

It was a truly fantastic evening and a fitting way to launch this new, fully refurbished centre.
