Festival Goers Tickled Pink ...
smart of Northampton added a huge splash of colour to this year’s annual smart festival.
Customers of the Riverside Business Park retailer travelled to the event in a convoy that included an eye-catching car liveried with the winning design from an art competition held in conjunction with Wellingborough Prep School. Aboard the striking smart was competition winner Holly Heath and mum Claire, who were invited to the festival as part of her prize.
Around 5,000 brand enthusiasts from all over the country flocked to the event at Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey, where they celebrated all things smart.
“A fantastic day began with a short drive to our sister site in Milton Keynes, where breakfast was served before our convoy of 25 cars set off the festival,” said Jodie Malsher, smart of Northampton’s Sales Executive. “The procession of smarts generated considerable interest en-route as did Holly’s car, which really stood out amongst the 1,500 vehicles present.
“With the chance to see the latest models, vote for the ‘best kept’, ‘best modified’ and ‘best dressed’ smarts and enjoy a host of fun and free attractions from face-painting to decorating cup cakes, it was a memorable day out for everyone who attended.”
