Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning

As part of our ongoing charity fundraising efforts for Macmillan Cancer Support,

staff at Sytner Group Head office, accepted the challenge of being part of the Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning.

The main event of the day was a cake baking competition which provided copious amounts of fantastic treats! The winner - with her Sticky Toffee Cake was Kerry Russell - Group Accountant - just easing into first place in front of Dennis Rousianos with his Chocolate Cake.....however Dennis was disqualified on the basis of his professional catering background in the Greek Army!!

The staff at Penman Way enjoyed coffee and cakes throughout the day to help raise much needed funds. Other fund raising activities where also held with a prize raffle and a 'Guess the Coffee Beans in the Jar' being won by Mandy Voce - Group Receptionist.

To end the day with the few cakes left, a final 'trolley dash' through Head Office was made by Leona Tansley - PA, using her charms to extract the last few pennies...as a result of all these activities, a total of £405 was raised on the day which was a great result!
