Porsche Centre Glasgow Climb Ben Lomond
On Sunday 31 October, 14 members of staff from Porsche Centre Glasgow were sponsored to climb Ben Lomond in aid of CHAS, the charity behind Robin House Children's Hospice.
With torrential rain the week before, the weather turned in our favour on the day of the hike and our team made it to the summit and back in 6 hours, with some of the fastest members taking just 4 ½ hours.
Our staff who made it to the peak included Catriona Provan, Chelsea White, Clive Sinclair, Craig Young, Danny Anderson, Debbie Allan, Dominic Bell, John Speirs, Kevin Wotherspoon, Lyndsey Just, Mandy Smith, Paul Farrell, Scott Smith, and Stevie Isdale. They were also accompanied by some friends of our Centre: Ronald Steel, Graeme Dallachey, Peter Allan, Wilson Taylor and Peter Smith.
So far our funds raised, reach over £4,877.19 for Robin House, a local hospice which offers physical and emotional support to children and young people with life-shortening conditions. Robin House focuses on improving quality of life and enjoyment of the time that is left for their young patients, as well as supporting their families.
