Sytner Group has achieved sixth position in the ‘20 Best Big Companies to Work For’ 2009 guide in the Sunday Times’ annual assessment of employee engagement.

The leading prestige motor retail group has been recognised for the second year running in the acclaimed league dominated by the financial services industry.

The Sunday Times 20 Best Companies to Work For guide was created five years ago in recognition of the challenges faced by larger organisations striving to maintain motivated employees. Sytner Group has been recognised for excellent workplace policies, with a focus on attracting and retaining the very best people, whilst delivering outstanding business performance

Gerard Nieuwenhuys, Managing Director of Sytner Group said, “It is a great credit to all of our employees to receive this recognition.  They continue to demonstrate an amazingly positive team spirit which is ensuring that our business continues to perform at an optimum level in what is a testing economic environment”.

Sytner Group has also been recognised by their peers in the retail motor industry last month winning the Local Community Initiative in the 2009 Automotive Management Awards.
