Winner! Best Local Community Initiative-Automotive Management Awards
At the recent AM Awards, Sytner Group won the new category of ‘Best Local Community Initiative’ award.
The awards are open to anyone within the Motor industry and five businesses were short listed in this particular category.
Following feedback from the first Sunday Times Best Company survey in 2008, Sytner Group decided they wanted to do more for the communities in which they are based, launching the Group-wide ‘Local Community’ award which was won jointly by the teams at Bentley Birmingham, Audi West London and Land Rover Coventry last year.
This initiative sparked many imaginative and innovative ways in which Sytner teams became involved in supporting their local communities and at a time when the economic climate is challenging and the car industry is demanding, this creates a feel-good factor for both Sytner staff and customers alike.
"Sytner takes a very spontaneous approach to working in the community. The company sets out its policy but leaves it to each dealership to decide what is best for its local area. Its staff come up with imaginative ways to help and many of them volunteer for good causes." - Judges' Comment
In addition, Sytner also entered the ‘Best website’ category for the first time and were awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in this category.
