The cambelt works in order to keep major components within the engine driven and synchronised. Being made from a rubber based compound that deteriorates with time, the cambelt is an element that will inevitably need replacing. The cambelt is one of the hardest working components in the engine and to avoid serious engine damage, should be replaced within good time.
Cambelt wear is also influenced by a number of other factors including the mileage and various sources of contamination, therefore it's essential that it is replaced every five years or as per the mileage specified in your Audi service schedule – whichever comes first. This ensures optimum safety and performance. Cambelt replacement is a complex job but by entrusting your car to us, you can be confident that the work is being done by experienced Audi Trained Technicians.
