The dynamic roof contour underlines the athletic character of the Audi A3 Sportback. The distinctive tornado line along the edge of the windows and the dynamic line above the sills show its lean side of the five-door. The rear view is dominated by the three-dimensional combination rear lights, the clearly separated lines and a wide diffuser. In keeping with its dynamic character, the Audi A3 Sportback with the optionally available S line selection appears to be in the fast lane and also emphasises the individuality and dynamic demands of the vehicle and the driver alike.
The chassis of the Audi A3 Sportback impresses with its sportiness: with the optional sports suspension the body is 15 millimetres lower, with the S line sports suspension it is 25 millimetres lower. The electromechanical power steering works sensitively and efficiently. The electrically assisted progressive steering system is also available as an option. All engines will impress with an agile drive with simultaneous high efficiency.
Comfortable and innovative
The highlight in the interior of the Audi A3 Sportback is the Audi virtual cockpit. In addition, the optional heated three-spoke steering wheel and the massage function available as an option for the driver’s seat offer additional comfort and ensure a pleasant ride. The various equipment lines give you an individual selection – in addition to the basic equipment, there is also the S line sports package for a dynamic appearance.
'S' Sport suspension

Fine Nappa leather is a high quality supple leather which is breathable, durable and features a natural fine grain. For Front Sport seats the seat upholstery, head restraints and front centre armrest are in Fine Nappa leather with contrast stitching. Door trim inserts in leatherette.
The LED headlights illuminate the road with a beam that’s remarkably close in colour to daylight, putting less strain on your eyes and making journeys more comfortable. Dynamic rear indicators sweep from inside to out, making a unique visual impact.
Distinctive RS design
On the exterior, the RS 3 Sportback shows off its power in the form of a striking Singleframe with a gloss black honeycomb grille, large air inlets and angular sill trims. The redesigned blade in the bumper gives the front end an even wider look. At its ends it forms narrow, upright funnels. LED headlights with their distinctive lighting signature are standard.
Sporty interior and outstanding comfort
The RS 3 Sportback is equipped with sport seats in black fine Nappa leather. RS sport seats with more contoured profiles and integrated head restraints for the driver and front passenger are available. RS emblems are emblazoned on the seatbacks of both seating variants. The RS sport leather steering wheel is flat-bottomed and features buttons for operating the infotainment system.
Behind the impressive performance of the Audi RS 3 Sportback is the world’s most powerful production five-cylinder engine – the 2.5 TFSI. It delivers 294 kW (400 hp) of output – 33 hp more than the predecessor engine – and is 26 kilograms (57.3 lb) lighter thanks to its aluminum crankcase, among other features. Its maximum torque of 480 Nm (354.0 lb-ft) is available at engine speeds as low as 1,700 rpm and remains constant up to 5,850 rpm. That’s how the RS 3 Sportback is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 4.1 seconds.
As a private motorist you have many options when it comes to paying for or leasing your car.
Personal Contract Purchase is the most popular method, as it allows you to upgrade typically every two to four years and avoid depreciation costs.
Hire Purchase is the straightforward approach, and one that enables you to take full ownership after all payments have been met.
Personal Contract Hire differs by giving you access to the latest models without committing to ownership. When the contract ends, simply hand back the keys.

There is a new test for fuel economy figures. We are currently changing our systems to use data from this new test – in the meantime, you should not rely on the fuel consumption data included in the configurator (which is based on the old (NEDC) test and will be out of date from 1 January 2019) or use that data in comparisons with other vehicles. For the official (WLTP) fuel consumption data for your chosen configuration, please consult your local Audi Centre. Figures shown are for comparability purposes; only compare fuel consumption and CO2 figures with other vehicles tested to the same technical procedures. These figures may not reflect real life driving results, which will depend upon a number of factors including the accessories fitted (post-registration), variations in weather, driving styles and vehicle load. There is a new test used for fuel consumption and CO2 figures (known as WLTP). The CO2 figures shown however, are based on a calculation designed to be equivalent to the outgoing (NEDC) test cycle and will be used to calculate vehicle tax on first registration. For more information, please see audi.co.uk/wltp or consult your local Audi Centre.
