Audi’s all-new flagship SUV is the second model in the range to get a powerful plug-in hybrid drive system, but the first with a six-cylinder TDI engine and quattro all–wheel drive. TDI power is combined with lithium-ion battery technology for a potential range of up to 820 miles and the ability to travel emission-free for about 34 miles on electric power alone, contributing to an official CO2 figure of less than 50g/km. It can return up to 156mpg combined and can be fully charged
in approximately 4 hours and 45 minutes. The Q7 e-tron is a five seater and will have a high technical specification, with Audi virtual cockpit, Audi smartphone interface, Audi connect and Predictive efficiency assist all as standard. It generates an impressive combined (TDI and electric engines) 373PS and 700Nm of torque. It accelerates to 62mph in 6.2 seconds and on electric power alone from 0 to 37mph in 6.5 seconds.

The Audi Q7 e-tron quattro offers the most spacious interior in its segment and can be customized with numerous luxury-class comfort and convenience features. The display and operating concepts also set benchmarks. The standard Audi virtual cockpit and MMI system have been redeveloped from the ground up. Their operation is simple and features intelligent logic. In the Audi Q7 e-tron quattro, the standard MMI navigation plus, which includes the Audi connect internet module, works closely with the hybrid management system. Navigation data and real-time traffic information can thus be used to compute an efficient hybrid strategy for the best route to the destination before starting out. Underway, the predictive efficiency assistant helps the driver to save fuel. It generates a detailed image of the route up to three kilometers (1.9 mi) ahead and uses visual cues to suggest releasing the accelerator when appropriate. At the same time, the active accelerator pulses once against the sole of driver’s foot. This new assistance system is another pioneering technology from Audi.
