A pure expression of exquisite luxury and phenomenal performance, the new Mulsanne represents the pinnacle of Bentley’s design, craft and engineering skills. Beneath its bonnet lies a 6¾ litre, twin turbocharged V8 engine that can propel the car and its occupants from 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds) and on to a top speed of 184 mph (296 km/h). The face of the new Mulsanne has seen significant attention from the Bentley designers. A new, front grille features vertical stainless steel vanes. The effect is striking: the car appears wide, sleek and low, connecting it closely to the road. A redesigned front and rear feature sharp lines, the superformed panels housing a sleek new headlamp configuration. New rear lamps reflecting the Bentley ‘B’ design match the stainless steel Bentley ‘B’ wing vents, while inside, a new fluted seat design completes a uniquely luxurious cabin. Inside and out, you will find the finest craftsmanship in evidence, using authentic materials, thoughtful design and discreet technology to achieve the highest levels of luxury and style. This is the essence of the new Bentley Mulsanne: absolute luxury coupled with absolute power.

The new Mulsanne offers an interior space like no other: calm and comfortable, whether you are driving or being driven. Hand-finished veneers –the result of over 78 hours of work on each for each car – encircle the cabin. Unique glass-effect switches sit alongside polished stainless steel brightware, including Bentley-designed bullseye air vents with their trademark organ stop controls. The new Mulsanne’s dashboard is engineered precisely to allow for the exact thickness of leather hide in which it is encased. It houses a newly redesigned 8” infotainment screen for navigation, audio, rear camera view and other functions. The seats are upholstered with traditionally tanned hides in a choice of 24 colours – and the option of bespoke colours created to match any sample you provide. The front seats feature 14-way electrical adjustment with an easy entry and exit function, while the back seats offer 8-way adjustment. All include lumbar support, two memory positions and adjustable heating, for the ultimate in comfort, wherever you sit in the car.

The new Mulsanne’s steel monocoque body structure is clad in superformed aluminium for fewer joins. Following assembly of the shell, each panel is primed, painted, sanded, lacquered and polished to a mirror finish by hand, the car’s sweeping lines finally coming to life.

The new Mulsanne features sharper lines to the fenders, bonnet and boot, which combine to give the entire exterior a contemporary appearance, with the bumpers emerging seamlessly from the bodyshell. From the front, the car looks wide, low and tightly connected to the road

Like its predecessor, the new Mulsanne features a 6¾ litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Assembled by hand at the Bentley factory in Crewe, each unit sports a nameplate bearing the name and signature of the engineer responsible.

To propel the new Mulsanne forward at speeds of up to 184 mph (296 km/h), its engine produces 505 bhp (377 kW / 512 PS) at 4,200 rpm and up to 1,020 Nm (752 Ib.ft) of torque at 1,750 rpm. The result is surging acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.1 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds) – practically unheard of in a car of this size.

A new 8” touch screen controls the new Mulsanne’s information, entertainment and vehicle systems. With the help of in-car WiFi, it provides access to online services such as music stores and 20 GB of local storage. Voice input, now supported in 25 languages, allows for complete control, without averting your eyes from the road ahead.

The new Mulsanne’s entry system supports pre-programmed configurations for multiple drivers, adjusting the car’s settings according to who takes the wheel. Radio stations, phone books, steering column, seat belt and seat settings (including front and rear ventilation and massage modes) can all be pre-programmed and stored. The result is a car that remembers your every preference.
