The Mere Golf Club was the location for the Annual Bentley Manchester Golf Day. The event was made even more special this year as we celebrated its 20th anniversary!
Although the weather didn't look too great at the start of the day, by midday 68 golfers were in full swing in the glorious sunshine - So much so, that ice cold beers were needed during their rounds to help cool them down (doctors' orders). We had various competitions around the course including straightest drive, putting challenge and a closest to the pin.
We also had on display, a variety of Bentley models located around the golf course including the V8 S, Speed and The Flying Spur. On the 8 th Hole, par 3, we had a special beat the pro challenge which a few guests managed to do – Watch out Rory!!
A special mention must go to the NSPCC who joined us at the event. With the brilliant donations raised very kindly from our guests to try and beat the pro, we managed to raise over £1000 towards a fantastic charity and one that we're very proud to support.
A delicious BBQ was put on by The Mere and that certainly kept everyone quite for a while before Jon Crossley presented the awards to the winners! It was another brilliant event and we are already looking forward the 2016 Bentley Manchester Golf Day.
