We’re delighted to support the British Legion’s Poppy Appeal 2017 with our “1 Mile of Coins” fundraising day.

On Friday, 10 November 2017 we’ll be clearing part of our showroom and attempting to raise as much money as we can for this worthy cause by creating a mile of coins… whether it’s a 1p or a £2 coin, literally every penny counts!

Although no longer legal tender, the British Legion will continue to accept the old £1 coin until 12 November 2017. So why not have a dig through your pockets and look under the sofa to see what you can find, then pop along to the showroom to donate it?

On the day, you'll be able to:

  • Donate your loose change to our “1 Mile of Coins” fundraising in aid of the Poppy Appeal 2017
  • Visit our “NAFFI” and indulge in some tea and cake
  • Browse through the British Legion merchandise which will be available to buy
  • DS & P in Aylesbury will be on hand to assist with any Mobility questions any of our customers may have, as well as demonstrating their vehicles which have been fitted with various adaptations
  • From 11am to 3pm enjoy the sounds of Ken McCarthy as he plays some nostalgic tunes on the piano. Ken is a professional pianist who has played with Dame Vera Lynn and taken part in some West End shows, such as Evita and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

For the younger visitors, draw poppies on our white BMW

We hope that you’ll be able to visit us on Friday, 10 November and support our fundraising, however if you are unable to attend we do currently have a collection box in the showroom and would welcome any donations towards our “1 Mile of Coins” fundraising.
