Following Government guidance, our Showrooms have now reopened*. We have always taken the safety of our colleagues and customers very seriously and that responsibility is now even more important.
As a result, we have rearranged our Showroom layouts and updated many of our procedures, to both respect guidelines and ensure that customers and colleagues feel confident and safe in our dealerships.
To help explain what we are doing to keep you safe during your next visit, we’ve put together a short video that you can view below:
In line with government guidelines, we've changed our procedures and rearranged our dealerships to ensure that customers and colleagues can always maintain the required social distancing.
To ensure our facilities remain as clean as possible, we've added additional cleaning procedures to our existing routines. This includes disinfecting all common touch points on all showroom vehicles.
Alongside providing disinfectant gel and our no handshake rule, our stricter policies require all team members to regularly wash their hands and Technicians to change their gloves between every vehicle.
We are looking forward to welcoming you back into our showrooms, but to ensure we can maintain social distancing we ask that you give us a call before you visit. This will allow our dealership team to schedule a time for your appointment and help us to control the number of people on site at any one time.
Upon your arrival at the dealership, you’ll be greeted by a member of our team. They will direct you to the most relevant parking area, based on the reason for your visit and explain where to go once you have parked your car.
If you are heading into the showroom, please apply disinfectant gel upon entering and follow the customer flow stickers and directional signs to help maintain a two-metre gap between you and other customers. For now, we’ve temporarily suspended refreshments and closed our customer waiting area.
We’ve slightly reduced the number of cars that are on display in our dealerships to help maximise the space available. If you’d like to see something in particular, please ensure that you speak to one of our sales team before your visit and they will be happy to help.
As you would expect, we’ve increased the frequency that our dealerships are cleaned and disinfected. We’re also ensuring that all common touch points on display vehicles are regularly cleaned and cars will remained locked until you’ve spoken to a member of the sales team.
When viewing a vehicle, customers and colleagues will be required to wear gloves and only one person will be allowed inside the car at any one time. Between each viewing, a designated member of the team will disinfect all major touchpoints inside and outside of the vehicle.
If you would like to find out more about one of our vehicles, you’ll be able to speak to one of our team members at a consultation desk. We’ve greatly reduced the number of desks in the building, to maintain social distancing, and have positioned new screens on each desk for your protection.
If you have organised to test drive a vehicle, you will be directed to a designated area upon arrival at the dealership.
The vehicle will be prepared ahead of time and will have been fully valeted and sanitised ready for your test drive. Sanitised keys will be given to you in a sealed envelope.
Our team member will always remain outside of the vehicle and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. To support social distancing guidance, a personalised video may be sent to you before the test drive to describe the vehicle’s details and features.
Once a member of the team has safely checked the documents you have bought with you, you will be able to take the vehicle out for a 15 minute unaccompanied test drive. You will be supplied with a disposable face mask and nitrile gloves to use for the duration of the test drive.
When you return to the dealership, the vehicle will be fully sanitised ahead of the next test drive.
Following your test drive, you’ll be able to speak to one of our team members at a consultation desk. We’ve greatly reduced the number of desks in the building, to maintain social distancing, and have positioned new screens on each desk for your protection.
If you are visiting the dealership to collect your new car, a member of the team will contact you to complete all of the relevant paperwork and to give you a dedicated collection time. You’ll also be sent a personalised video that explains everything you need to know about the features and controls of your new car.
Upon your arrival at the dealership, you’ll be greeted by a member of our team and they will direct you to the most relevant parking area. As you’re visiting to collect your new vehicle, you may not be required to head into the main showroom.
Ahead of your visit, your vehicle will have been fully valeted and sanitised ready for collection.
Throughout the handover, our team member will always remain outside of your vehicle and will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. Your sanitised keys will then be given to you in a sealed envelope and you’ll be free to drive away in your new car.
We are taking our responsibility to protect you and our team very seriously. If you have any specific questions or feedback, please speak to a member of the team and they’ll be happy to help.
