The McLaren 720S has picked up two new, prestigious awards.
First of all, the car triumphed at the Octane Awards. It beat a range of competitors including Aston Martin DB11, Ferrari 812 Superfast, Bugatti Chiron and Porsche 911 GT3 to claim the Supercar of the Year 2017. The Award was collected by Jens Ludmann, McLaren’s COO, during the ceremony which took place in London last week.
Additionally, the 720S can now add another trophy to its already-impressive list of accolades. The car was comprehensively featured in the latest, Car of the Year issue of BBC TopGear Magazine, The writer, Ollie Marriage, simply calls is “a masterpiece” and is completely overwhelmed with how easy the second-generation Super Series is to live with.
