From 1st April 2017, Vehicle Excise Duty, commonly known as road tax, will be increased. This will have an impact on the amount that you pay for your new Mercedes-Benz.
Ahead of the UK car tax system undergoing this major change, you could avoid paying more VED by purchasing your new Mercedes-Benz before 1st April.
The key changes for VED are:
Cars that are purchased before 1st April will continue to pay the current VED rates, which will not change.
To be certain of avoiding this Government increase the best advice is to buy from existing physical stock, ahead of 1st April 2017.
