MINI Celebrate the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

To celebrate the royal wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle, MINI have decided to mark the occasion with a one-off MINI Hatch. After the wedding day on May 19th, the specially designed MINI will be donated to one of the couple’s chosen charity, The Children’s HIV Association (CHIVA) where it will go to public auction.

The MINI is finished in Crystal White with silver-blue strips, providing a very distinctive look. The traditional MINI design features such as the radiator grille, door handles and surrounds of headlights are finished in chrome and rear lights with a blue-black tinted clear coat, making it even more unique. The rear lights will also include the new Union Jack design with a dark blue matt metallic wheel rims to add the finishes touch.

The interior is finished in satellite grey leather and contains the first names of the bride and groom, plus the wedding date and good wishes have been added to the large trim strip ahead of the front passenger seat.

One of the main highlights of this spectacular MINI is the roof’s vibrant paint finish. The roof graphic was applied by hand and consists of several layers, bringing together elements of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s national flags – The Union Jack and the Stars & Stripes. There’s more – the side scuttles around the side turn signal indicators have been 3D-printed and embellish the initials M and H with a heart and rings. When the car is opened, they project an exclusive “Just Married” welcome onto the ground in front of the driver’s door and front-passenger door.

“As an iconic British brand with almost 60 years of history in the UK, we are pleased to mark the royal wedding with this special charitable gift,” explains Oliver Heilmer, Head of MINI Design. “The MINI Design team has created a one-off MINI Hatch for the occasion. Its specially designed roof graphic combines with 3D-printed personalised interior and exterior details as well as special embroidery to make this a MINI like no other.”
