Gallery: The all-new Porsche 718 Cayman GTS

As you may have seen from last week’s feature on the Porsche 718 Cayman GTS, we recently tested a manual version of the latest Cayman with a road trip to Goodwood; in homage to Porsche’s 70th Anniversary.

En route, our Sytner Photographer took a whole host of images and we just couldn’t fit them all into the feature. So, because we simply couldn’t waste these incredible pictures, here’s a gallery of some of the best shots from the trip. Which is your favourite? Let us know on Facebook or Instagram.

The Porsche 718 Cayman GTS is the latest iteration of the 718 Cayman – the first Cayman to be fitted with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine instead of the usual naturally aspirated six-cylinder unit. Tuned to offer more power than the superb 718 Cayman and 718 Cayman S, the GTS variant produces 361bhp and 317lb ft of torque.

Being a GTS variant it receives, as standard, various trim elements that would usually be optional on the Cayman S. This means that the Sport Chrono Package, a mechanical limited-slip differential and Porsche’s adaptive damping system (PASM) are instantly available on all 718 Cayman GTS’.

The final result is an even more focused Cayman that builds upon strong foundations with lower ride height, harder suspension and the ability to fine tune damper stiffness and throttle response. Twinned with either the optional manual gearbox (like our test car) or Porsche’s superb PDK double-clutch automatic gearbox, it’s a true sports car that performs and handles to perfection.
