We're very happy to announce the arrival of the all-new 8 series and X5, now available from your local Sytner BMW Retailer.
All 17 of our Sytner BMW Retailers held a successful launch event for both models at the beginning of the month and we would like to thank all those who came to view these incredible cars.
To celebrate the arrival of two incredible new models, each retailer added a little extra to their showroom from food and live music, to art and fashion; whilst Sytner Leicester decided to treat their guests to Afternoon Tea at Winstanley House.
We hope everyone enjoyed the event and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
The New 8 Series
BMW has combined its racing heritage with luxury design to create the new BMW 8 Series. Launched initially as a coupé model, it has been developed in parallel with the new BMW M8 GTE, which entered the legendary 24-hour Le Mans 2018 race.
Typically, BMW will develop cars for the road and then customise these for the racetrack; however, for the first time ever, the BMW 8 Series was approached differently. BMW M Motorsport engineers and production engineers worked closely together in the development process.
This combination of racetrack performance and lavish quality delivers an experience that is utterly breathtaking.
The new BMW X5 design makes a powerful statement. The enlarged one-piece kidney grille, which has a hexagonal design, is paired with a sculptured bonnet, and gives the iconic front a new lease of life. Other standout features include the short overhang, a compact wheelbase, and a noticeably more upright appearance. And when combined with the elegant roofline, it’s grandeur and sportiness is in perfect harmony.
Drivers can expect more from the new BMW X5; more functionality, more space and more adventures. In part, this is made possible by the new electric split-tailgate, which helps with loading/unloading, and also the optional third row of seats. It also comes with Adaptive two-axle air suspension, sump-guard under-body protection and an optional xOffroad pack, which includes four new off-road driving modes. What more could you want?
