Our ‘One Team’ culture goes beyond getting the day to day job done; we fully encourage our staff to have fun. This can be anything from charity fundraising commitments, to helping out in our local communities and having fun within our dealerships.
Earlier this month, David Mobberley, Head of Business and the team at Stafford Volkswagen challenged the team at Stoke Volkswagen to a friendly game of football. Kat, New Car Sales Manager at Stoke, did a wonderful job organising the event and bringing our dealerships together.
The game was of course played in good spirits and everyone had a great time. Matt Lane, Divisional Manager joined the game, playing the first half with Stoke and the second half with Stafford.
It was wonderful to see representation from every area of the business on and off the pitch.
With a broad level of skill and experience and cheering from the sidelines, everyone got involved. David Crinnion, Head of Business at Stoke Volkswagen even managed to pick up a trophy at the end of the night.
The score was 17- 7, with Stoke coming out on top. Although, it's not the winning, its the taking part that counts. It’s all part of creating a fun atmosphere and making Sytner a great place to work.
