Keeping You Safe during your Test Drive

The safety of our customers and colleagues has always been something that we've taken very seriously and that responsibility is now even more important.

To keep you safe during your test drive, we've rearranged our dealerships and changed our test drive procedures, so that we can ensure adequate social distancing at all times.

In line with government guidelines, we've changed our procedures and rearranged our dealerships to ensure that customers and colleagues can always maintain the required social distancing.


Facility Cleanliness

To ensure our facilities remain as clean as possible, we've added additional cleaning procedures to our existing routines. This includes disinfecting all common touch points on your vehicle.

Personal Hygiene

Alongside providing disinfectant gel and our no handshake rule, our stricter policies require all team members to regularly wash their hands and Technicians to change their gloves between every vehicle.

What should I expect when I visit the Dealership?


We are looking forward to welcoming you into our showroom for your test drive, but to ensure we can maintain social distancing we ask that you give us a call to schedule your test drive before you visit. This will allow our dealership team to control the number of people on site at any one time and ensure that the vehicle you wish to test drive is available and fully sanitised.

Social Distancing

Upon your arrival at the dealership, you’ll be greeted by a member of our team and they will direct you to the designated parking area for test drives.

Before your test drive, you may not need to head into the dealership but, if you do head into the showroom at any point, we ask that you apply disinfectant gel upon entering and follow the customer flow stickers and directional signs to help maintain a two-metre gap between you and other customers. For now, we’ve temporarily suspended refreshments and closed our customer waiting area.

Increased Cleaning

Ahead of your test drive, the vehicle you're booked to drive will be fully sanitised and valeted, so that you never have to worry who last touched the vehicle. Sanitised keys will be given to you in a sealed envelope when it's time for your test drive.

Throughout your time with us, our team member will always remain outside of the vehicle and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. To support social distancing guidance, a personalised video may be sent to you before the test drive to describe the vehicle’s details and features.


Once a member of the team has safely checked your documents, you will be able to take the vehicle out for a 15 minute unaccompanied test drive. You will be supplied with a disposable face mask and nitrile gloves to use for the duration of the test drive. When you return to the dealership, the vehicle will be fully sanitised ahead of the next test drive.

Following your test drive, you’ll be able to speak to one of our team members at a consultation desk within the dealership. We’ve greatly reduced the number of desks in the building, to maintain social distancing, and have positioned new screens on each desk for your protection.
