ŠKODA has released images of the revised ŠKODA FABIA, prior to being previewed at this years Geneva International Motor Show.
The revised FABIA now houses LED lights front and rear and offers a wider range of alloy wheels including 18-inch rims for the hatchback. The inside is complimented with a re-designed instrument cluster two-tone finishes for the seats.
Whilst final UK price and specifications are yet to be confirmed, potentially a choice of four petrol drivetrains* may be available - two MPI and two TSI. The MPI engines produce outputs of 60 hp and 75 hp respectively, while the two TSI drivetrains feature direct petrol injection, generating 95 and 110 hp respectively.
Rear Traffic Alert monitors the rear of the vehicle and warns of a risk when reversing supporting the new Blind Spot Detection alert system.
Innovative SmartLink+ technology makes it possible to enjoy all the benefits of the Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLinkTM and SmartGate systems. The ‘Swing’ infotainment system gets 6.5-inch display and ŠKODA Connect, whilst the navigation system offfers Online Traffic Information with real-time traffic updates.
Launch in the UK is expected in the Autumn of 2018.
ŠKODA's iconic ice scraper in the fuel filler flap now also incorporates a tyre tread depth gauge and a portable LED flashlight is also to be housed in the boot.
