Stafford Volkswagen support St Katharine's Hospice

Our Stafford Volkswagen dealership have donated two cars to St Katharine's Hospice, which will be used by the fabulous community nurses to visit families around the county. Rachel, one of the nurses at the Hospice and Jane, Personal Assistant to Dr Richard Soulsby, Chief Executive collected the Polo's.

Katharine House Hospice began as 'Stafford Hospice at Home' in 1989, before the Katharine House Hospice Day Care Unit opened in May 1993. They have gone from strength to strength, welcoming their first in-patient in September 2000, a 'Drop in Day' in 2001 and a Carers' Group in 2004. Today's Katharine House Hospice continues to grow, with over 200 staff and a staggering 600+ volunteers. Together, with the support of the local community, they provide care for the families of mid-Staffordshire. Their aim is to enable patients and those close to them to live life as fully as possible and make the most of the time that they have. They offer a welcoming, warm and safe environment, where hope is kept alive and laughter is often heard.
