BMW Proactive Care provides personalised, pre-emptive support whenever your BMW needs servicing, experiences a fault, breaks down, or is involved in an accident.
This service operates through your BMW Connected Drive account, accessible via the MY BMW app or the My BMW portal.
It's a smart, forward-thinking way to stay ahead of potential issues and receive timely reminders - helping ensure your BMW ownership experience remains seamless and stress free.

Requirements
An active BMW ConnectedDrive account for your BMW.
A vehicle assigned to your BMW ID, either in the My BMW app or via the My BMW portal.
Your personal data registered under your BMW ID, including your current phone number, email address, and preferred BMW service Partner (e.g. Sytner BMW Leicester).
Consent to the Privacy Policy within the vehicle, allowing BMW and your BMW Service Partner to contact you. Ensure you have given permission in the vehicle settings to allow communication from BMW and your selected service partner.
Push notifications enabled in the My BMW app to facilitate timely updates and alerts.

How it works.
BMW Proactive Care uses vehicle sensors to identify service needs or potential faults early on, automatically sending this information to BMW. We will then proactively contact you via the My BMW app, directly in your vehicle, or via email. For urgent matters you will receive a phone call.

Frequently Asked Questions
Proactive Care is available worldwide for all BMW models equipped with Operating System 7 (from 07/2019) or newer. To make the most of all features, make sure you have an active BMW ConnectedDrive account, link your vehicle to your BMW ID via the My BMW app or online portal, and keep your contact details and preferred BMW partner up to date.
For smooth and seamless communication, please ensure you've accepted the Privacy Policy for data sharing and enabled push notifications in the My BMW app.
