Aston Martin DB12
The World's First Super Tourer
DB12
A new generation in the iconic 'DB' bloodline, elevated on all levels. Delivering exhilarating performance and pure dynamics combined with new technology ensuring its segment-leading credentials. DB12 exudes elegance and poise, delivering a bold new confidence across the exterior and interior.
Performance
Ride, steering and handling have been a focus of DB12, removing isolation and increasing body stiffness to give greater feedback and dynamism. This results in an increased precision, whilst new damping has maintained ride quality and body control. Completing the dynamic package is the segment leading 4.0L Twin Turbo V8 producing 680 PS propelling DB12 out of every bend.
Exterior Design
The increased body width provides greater road presence and improves stability in high speed cornering. The DB12 is the first production model to be crowned with the new "Wings" badge and has a larger grille design for a more striking aesthetic. Intricate craftmanship details have been applied to the new headlight design, including the Aston Martin wordmark scribed on the headlamp internals.
Interior design
Along with the aesthetic design enhancements, DB12 introduces stowage solutions throughout the cabin to enhance usability. Craftmanship remains at the core, with exquisite detailing and unique character embodied by the new quilts introduced with DB12. New trim inlay locations and materials offer the opportunity to clearly define its character, from athletic to elegant, using a range of choice that is unrivalled within its class.
A mark of Aston Martin’s heritage on a perfectly honed focal point. Offering function and form, with a 56% increase in open area to aid cooling. And claiming admirers with S curves coming from the 50s. A miracle in modelling.
Spreading its winged body further into the road. DB12 has been dilated with a 6mm front and 22mm rear increase in track width flowing through to the body width. Giving greater road presence and crowned with the kind of character deserving of royalty.
Two flaming eyes to lead the way. Fronted with futuristic, re-designed LED headlights and shining with a new daytime running light (DRL) signature. Utilising a distinct 6 block pattern, offering DB12 a distinct and characterful front visual appearance. Each lighting block has a serrated front and side design to ensure a consistent and homogeneous light output, ensuring a focused light beam pattern. And the Automatic High Beam cuts a clearer path for more support in the cloak of the night. As illuminating to the category as it is on the road. The side strake has featured on every DB and this Super Tourer is no different. Flourishing with our wordmark. The side sills draw attention to the wheels and insist on a deeper, stronger stance. And the new front splitter keeps you on steady ground through lift reduction even when you’re flying at speeds of up to 202mph.
Tech
An aluminium extension of yourself. Enveloping you in driver centricity. Cupping you in a precise place for a near-perfect hip/heel ratio. With any slight twitch of the car hanging on only the slightest flutter of your wrist or ankle.
For the first time in 110 years, we’ve put online intelligence at the core of a car. With a brain in the shape of the connectivity app. Allowing interaction, control and feedback direct from the DB12 and putting updates and upgrades in the palm of your hand and the safety of your phone. And the best is yet to come with every drive used as a learning curve. Evolving with an arsenal of features as soon as they’re available.

Geared towards power. An automatic ZF 8-speed transmission comes twinned with electronic rear differential. Channelling power into place and weaving it individually through each wheel. Offering shorter gear changes to improve acceleration, particularly across the mid-range. Allowing the world’s first super tourer to find super speeds.
