What is Remote App?
Remote App is a selection of applications that connects you to your vehicle and links you seamlessly, and securely, with the outside world
You can download the Remote App using your account details, which provides the ability to remotely interact with your vehicle wherever you are. The InControl Remote App5 is free to download and available for Apple and Android devices. Download the latest version by searching for ‘Remote App’ in the AppStore or Google Play Store.
With the Smartphone Pack, you can use your apps safely and conveniently via Pivi and Pivi Pro1 using:
For Apple CarPlay®, ensure you have the latest version of iOS installed and Siri ® enabled on your iPhone. For Android AutoTM, ensure you have the latest Android Auto app installed and Google voice assistant enabled on your Google device. Connect your device to the interface in the centre console storage compartment using a certified USB cable.
Once connected, you can immediately start using the service in your vehicle. Linked services will appear as an icon in the app drawer, as a media source in the media player or as an active calendar within the Agenda app.
Secure Tracker
Secure Tracker helps to locate your vehicle in the event of theft
If someone breaks into - or moves - your Jaguar illegally, Secure Tracker keeps you one step ahead. You are alerted and the Stolen Vehicle Tracking Centre then assists in recovering your vehicle as soon as possible.
If your vehicle is stolen with the keys inside, you can activate the vehicle tracking system by contacting the Stolen Vehicle Tracking Centre using the Remote smartphone app.
Secure Tracker provides you a level of reassurance and security, which goes above and beyond.
THEFT ALERT
Secure Tracker is a technology feature which alerts you and the Stolen Vehicle Tracking Centre if the vehicle alarm is triggered. In the first instance, a theft notification will be sent to the Stolen Vehicle Tracking Centre where one of the operators will get in touch. You will also be notified through the Remote smartphone app and the InControl website, advising you on how to contact the team.
