Style & Technology.

From every angle, the new C-Class Estate appears lithe and athletic, brimming with power and purpose. From the muscular front end, with its distinctive scooped-out air intakes, to the long, sweeping roofline, practicality has never looked so good.

Standard equipment includes roof rails – black on the SE, chrome on the Sport and AMG Line – and the EASY-PACK automatic powered tailgate, which makes life easier when loading and unloading.

Integrated into the centre console hand rest, the new Touchpad is as intuitive to use as it is elegant to look at. Much like a smartphone, it's easy to operate and quick to master, enabling you to control an array of functions without distraction. From music and navigation to making a phone call, the touchpad lets you perform tasks using simple, gesture-based controls.

Though highly responsive, the Touchpad only recognises positive gestures – so there's no danger of it  reacting to a chance movement. And it confirms every action you make using tactile pulses. So you won't feel the need to take your eyes off the road to glance down and check.

The latest C-Class Estate boasts a range of refined petrol and diesel engines, each delivering remarkable performance. The C 250 BlueTEC, for example, is capable of  0–62 mph in just 6.9 seconds

Yet the C-Class Estate also offers outstanding efficiency, thanks in part to its lightweight construction. With almost half the car now built from aluminium, this latest model is around 65 kg lighter than its predecessor.

This, coupled with sleek, highly aerodynamic new styling, contributes to exceptional fuel economy: the diesel C 200 BlueTEC can achieve 65.7 mpg* combined. So you’ll have fewer visits to the pumps and more time enjoying the open road. What’s more, CO2 emissions are as low as 49 g/km, helping keep tax to a minimum.
