Tileah Kelly - Sales Executive

  1. How long have you worked for Sytner BMW/MINI? I have worked for Sytner for 2 and a half years.

  2. How long have you been in your current role? I have been a qualified Sales Executive for 6 months and was a trainee for 2 years prior to that.

  3. What is your favourite part about your current role? My favourite part of my role is meeting lots of new people from all walks of life and building a relationship with them. There is nothing better than seeing how excited they are to buy their new car.

  4. What motivates you in the morning? Being as productive as possible in the morning is what motivates me. For example going to the gym before starting work. This gives me a sense of accomplishment early in the morning, keeping me motivated throughout the day.

  5. Three words to describe yourself? I would describe myself as bubbly, enthusiastic and determined.

  6. What is your greatest achievement? Although I have achieved a lot during my short time in the automotive industry, from passing a level 4 qualification in sales whilst exceeding a target… I still feel that my greatest achievement is yet to come!

  7. What advice would you give to someone aspiring to be in your role? Remain resilient, persistent and work hard, but most importantly, remember to have fun. The hard work will always pay off even when you feel like it isn’t.

  8. How have you seen the Automotive industry landscape change and evolve to engage more women? We have a diversity society where our members of staff come together and discuss how as a business we can promote inclusiveness. The Automotive industry has evidently evolved to engage more women as our business has large number is females in all roles including workshop and body shop management.

  9. Top tip for how you organise your days? I organise my day by writing out a to-do-list every morning as soon as I arrive at work. By completing as much of this as possible early on in the day frees you up to look after customers for the remainder of your time in the business.

  10. Top tip for working in the automotive industry? Communication is key!
