BMW has amassed an additional five accolades in 2023, enhancing its already impressive collection. This includes the highly sought-after Fleet Manufacturer of the Year award, secured for the second consecutive year at the Business Car Awards. In addition to this prestigious honour, BMW's X1, 3 Series, i4, and 5 Series have all earned recognition as the best in their respective categories.

Martyn Collins, Editor of Business Car Magazine, presented BMW with the Fleet Manufacturer of the Year award and remarked, "We remain consistently impressed by BMW's selection of models, which continually build upon their strong track record in the fleet sector. This is especially true with their expanding range of electric vehicles. Furthermore, their commitment to company car drivers, exemplified by innovations such as the 'Inside Edge' rewards program and the introduction of 'Corporate Certified' this year, is dedicated to enhancing the retailer experience."

The third-generation BMW X1, introduced in 2022, marks a milestone by offering fully electric models for the first time, along with cutting-edge connectivity features. It earned the distinction of being named the Best Premium Medium SUV, with judges noting, "The latest X1 stands out with its enhanced practicality, performance, and impressive electric range for EV and plug-in hybrid variants. Alongside the increased space, all X1 models are well-equipped and offer an enjoyable driving experience."

The BMW i4 clinched its sixth award for 2023, securing the title of Best Electric Car over £40,000 for the second consecutive year at the Business Car Awards. Judges commended the i4, stating that "despite the proliferation of models in this category over the past year, none could match the i4's dependable electric range, driver appeal, and practical hatchback design." Collins also highlighted the accessibility of the eDrive35 model due to its lower entry price, making the BMW i4 more accessible to a wider range of drivers.

For the fourth consecutive year, the BMW 5 Series earned the title of Best Executive Car from Business Car Magazine, with judges affirming that the current model "remains the top car in its class."
