Rosie Becomes the UK's First Female BMW Master Technician

We're incredibly proud to share that Rosie, from our Sytner BMW Tring team, has qualified as a BMW Master Technician, making her the first female BMW Master Technician in the UK.

It's a milestone built on a decade of dedication. Rosie has been part of the Sytner BMW family for ten years, growing her skills and experience every step of the way, and this achievement is the result of years of hard work, learning and sheer determination.

"Being the first female BMW Master Technician feels like a massive achievement," says Rosie. "It's a goal I've wanted for so long, finally achieved."

Asked what she's learned along the way, Rosie's answer is simple: "Never, ever give up. Keep pushing, no matter how tough it gets or how rainy the days are. Don't give up on your dream, because one day you'll be celebrating it."

Inspiring the next generation

As well as continuing to work her way up the technical trade, Rosie wants to use her achievement to inspire more young women to pursue careers in the automotive industry.

"That would make me very happy," she says. "I want to keep showing everyone that regardless of gender, race, disability or age, you can do and be whoever you want to be. That's really important to me, and I think everyone should know it."

Her advice to young women starting out in the industry? "Don't give up. Always believe in yourself and trust yourself. If you're not happy somewhere or you don't like something, speak up – and keep pushing.”

Recognising Talent

At Sytner, we believe great careers are built when talented people are given the opportunity, training and encouragement to go after their ambitions – whoever they are and wherever they start. Rosie's journey is a brilliant example of exactly that, and we couldn't be prouder to have supported her along the way.

Congratulations, Rosie – here's to the next chapter, and to the many people your story will inspire!
