How long have you worked for Sytner BMW/MINI? 11 Years
How long have you been in your current role? 8 years
What is your favourite part about your current role? The people – I am learning more each day from all my role models. I genuinely love my job and feel privileged to work for Sytner
What motivates you in the morning? Catching up with work colleagues
Three words to describe yourself? Positive, caring, multitasker
What is your greatest achievement? My 5 children (2 step) and creating a blended family. Not having a career until my late 30’s and achieving what I have with great guidance from my peers.
What advice would you give to someone aspiring to be in your role? Learn from those around you, be organised and 2 minute delay on emails!
How have you seen the automotive industry landscape change and evolve to engage more women? Nothing is male orientated anymore there are now more females in the industry from the workshop to Accountants and Heads of Business.
Top tip for how you organise your days? Catch up emails before I go to work, quiet time in the car to plan my day, outlook diary and learn to handle everything that is thrown at you.
Top tip for working in the automotive industry? For a big industry, it is a small industry where everyone knows everyone! Be flexible it is not a 9-5 business.
