Jayna Mistry, Used Car Sales Executive at Sytner Sheffield, answers our Women in Business questions.
How long have you worked for Sytner BMW/MINI? I started in May 2004 as a Sales Executive.
How long have you been in your current role? I have been working in both departments, MINI and BMW, during this time and currently I am in BMW.
What is your favourite part about your current role? I love selling! I still get very excited after every sale even after 17 and half years!
What motivates you in the morning? Wondering how much I will earn today
Three words to describe yourself? Happy, positive, motivated.
What is your greatest achievement? Definitely my 2 beautiful children.
What advice would you give to someone aspiring to be in your role? Be confident, engaging and enthusiastic about what you do- the customers love it!
How have you seen the Automotive industry landscape change and evolve to engage more women? When I started there were no women in sales and now there are more. TV adverts often promote women in the motor trade which is great.
Top tip for working in the automotive industry? Take every day as it comes.
