In the hot seat - Theresa Tucker, Training and Recruitment Manager from our Contact Centre.

  1. How long have you worked for Sytner BMW/MINI? 11 years.

  2. How long have you been in your current role? 2 years.

  3. What is your favourite part about your current role? When the new team I have been training realise that they can do this and start to enjoy it.

  4. What motivates you in the morning? What will the new day bring, helping new team members to be the best they can be.

  5. Three words to describe yourself? Perky (my favourite word in training), supportive and nurturing (I am old enough to be everyone’s mother).

  6. What is your greatest achievement? Starting with Sytner after never being in this sort of environment and making my way to a position that I thouroughly enjoy.

  7. What advice would you give to someone aspiring to be in your role? Work hard and make sure you know the roles you would be training inside and out.

  8. How have you seen the Automotive industry landscape change and evolve to engage more women? At this moment most of our management team are women, it’s now about the right person for the role whether they be male or female.

  9. Top tip for how you organise your days? Make a plan but don’t be afraid to deviate from it, things happen.

  10. Top tip for working in the automotive industry? Be passionate about the role you are doing!
