The Škoda Superb iV is Škoda's first model with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining the best of electric and conventional Škoda technology for an eco-friendly yet dynamic drive. The partly closed chrome-plate front grille creates real presence and integrates the charging socket. The Superb iV is available in a Hatch or Estate, with four trims. (SE Technology, SE L, Sportline Plus and L&K).
The Superb iV's 13 kWh battery and petrol engine offer a range of up to 578 miles. It can be charged in just five hours using a domestic three-pin plug and the Mode 2 cable. Using the Mode 3 cable will provide a 100% charge in three and a half hours. Alternatively, when using the petrol engine the car will recharge the battery using energy created when braking. '
