Unexpected repair costs can soon put a dent in your driving enjoyment so extending your manufacturer warranty can make a great deal of sense. Unlike other warranties, our new car warranty can be extended to cover you exactly as a genuine ŠKODA factory warranty would for the full period of time that you have it. This means you can now get up to 5 years / 100,000 miles†cover for manufacturing defects.
What's more, if you decide to sell your ŠKODA the warranty is completely transferrable to the new owners – and any subsequent owners – for the duration of the policy

New Car Warranty exclusions & limitations
Wear and tear components will only be considered under the terms of the warranty for the first of six months or 6,500 miles†. These include, but are not limited to brake linings and disc pads, clutch release bearings, clutch pressure plates and centre plates, tyres, wiper blades, seat and backrest covers, floor coverings, spark plugs, batteries for key fobs and alarms, light bulbs and shock absorbers.
Mechanical adjustments including but not limited to adjustments to doors, flaps, boot lids, bonnets and sunroof, brake adjustment, clutch adjustment, headlight adjustment, steering geometry adjustments and wheel balancing are excluded.
Damage (including but not limited to the following) is excluded:
Damage or defects as a result of repairs or incorrect installation of parts or accessories by an unauthorised workshop.
Damage or defects as a result of the installation of parts, components, software or accessories not authorised by ŠKODA UK.
Damage or defects which may be attributable to accident damage.
Damage to components, equipment or software which were not part of the vehicle at the point of original manufacture.
Damage or defects as a result of the use of poor quality or incorrect fuels or additives.
Routine maintenance and servicing is not covered by the warranty. Incidental or consequential costs such as hotel charges, car hire, loss of personal effects or income are not recoverable under the terms of the warranty.

You can buy one of our extended warranties from as little as £148* per year.
Why take out a warranty?
With ŠKODA Extended Warranty, all warranty repairs are completed in ŠKODA Approved Retailers by ŠKODA trained technicians, using ŠKODA Genuine Parts.
Not only is our cover great value, but you will also benefit from the care and expertise that only a ŠKODA Approved Retailer can deliver.
Once you’ve set up your 12 months cover, if you need to make a claim simply take your vehicle and confirmation of cover to your nearest ŠKODA Approved Retailer.
Flexible warranties to suit you
There are two levels of cover that you can choose from:
1. All Component Cover
All component cover is the most comprehensive cover level, paying for the cost of repairing or replacing the factory-fitted mechanical and electrical components of your vehicle that have suffered sudden and unexpected failure during the cover period. The maximum paid per claim is the market value*** of your vehicle.
2. Named Component Cover
Named component cover pays for the cost of repairing or replacing the factory-fitted mechanical and electrical components of your vehicle listed below that have suffered sudden and unexpected failure during the cover period. The maximum we will pay per claim is £1,000.^ However, if the market value† of your vehicle is under £1,000,^ the maximum we will pay is the market value.† The below list does not include all components that are covered:

Used Car Warranty
Manufacturer and/or ŠKODA APPROVED warranty
If you're buying a car up to 8 years old and up to 100,000 miles on the clock, with Solutions Personal Contract Plan, you’ll automatically receive a 12 month warranty.
Warranties will either be the remainder of Manufacturer's warranty, a ŠKODA APPROVED warranty or a combination of the two.
You can also extend the warranty period at the time of buying, giving you even more worry-free driving time.

***The market value of your vehicle is taken at the time of the sudden failure (including VAT)
** You pay for any repairs and then claim these costs back from North Wales ŠKODA of the ŠKODA UK authorised network. Repairs must be carried out by a member of the ŠKODA authorised network in that country.
* Based on a customer driving a ŠKODA with less than 60,000 miles and an engine size of 1.4L or below, choosing Named Component cover with an excess of £250, to cover them for driving less than 10,000 miles, within 30 days of their existing warranty expiring.
