On Sunday 13th July, the team from Volvo Cars Warrington proudly took part in the annual Disability Awareness Day, the UK’s largest pan-disability event, held just a few miles from our showroom.
Now in its 33rd year, Disability Awareness Day is a celebration of ability, not disability - championing what people can do, across work, life, sport, arts, and entertainment. With over 200 exhibitors and thousands of attendees, the event provides a vital platform to raise awareness and share knowledge about the support, services, and equipment available to promote independence and accessibility.
Supporting Local, Championing Motability
As a local business, Volvo Cars Warrington was delighted to support this not-for-profit event by exhibiting some of our Motability Scheme vehicles, including the fully electric Volvo EX30 and the ever-popular Volvo XC40.
Our showroom is just a short distance away, so we were able to arrange same-day appointments for attendees interested in experiencing the vehicles firsthand. Our goal was to make learning about electric and mild hybrid Motability vehicles as easy and accessible as possible.
