At Sytner Land Rover we recommend you have your vehicle wheels aligned every 10,000 miles, or at least once a year.

Ensuring your wheels are aligned provides many benefits to your driving experience, such as the below:

  • Decreases tyre resistance and increases fuel economy

  • Reduced tyre wear and friction can add thousands of extra miles to your tyre life

  • Increases handling and grip by eliminating drifts to the left/right.

Checks

All these improvements result in a safer drive and a much more comfortable experience.

Before your Wheel Alignment Check takes place we will also check:

  • Tyre Pressures and their Condition

  • Tyre Sizes

  • Wheel Damage

  • For Suspension Damage

  • For Worn Suspension Joints

  • Equipment Calibration

Some of our locations also now have ‘Quick Check Inspection’, where as you enter the service drive-thru the wheel alignment and tire tread system rapidly scans your vehicle using lasers and cameras, providing instant wheel data for review; all without stopping the car. Results are then shown on a digital display for both technicians and the client to see.

Quick Check Inspection therefore provides a fast, touchless and transparent wheel service - identifying potential alignment and tyre health issues early, ensuring better handling for the driver and improving safety. The following stores currently have this system fitted and ready for use: Maidstone, Bristol, Huddersfield, Northampton, South West London, Stockport and Knutsford.
