West London Audi Announce Joint Fund Raising Campaign with David Lloyd Acton Park
At 12pm on the 30th May, West London Audi will be taking on the incredible challenge of burning one million calories in just 24 hours!
Created in collaboration with David Lloyd Acton Park, the challenge aims to raise both money and awareness of the charities Mind and Acton Homeless Concern.

Tollbar Warwick Regency Run raises over £1,000 for Christine's Crew
Tollbar Warwick has raised an impressive £1,100 to date for Christine’s Crew, after taking part in the recent Leamington Regency 10k run.
A team of 14 ran the route to raise funds for the local charity that offers emotional and financial support to those affected by cancer.
The charity was chosen as one of the staff members was a good friend of Christine Addison who sadly lost her battle to cancer at the age 37.
Tollbar Warwick also sponsored the event and had a Volvo XC40 and Volvo XC60 on display to welcome runners to the finish line.
Mercedes-Benz of Teesside Support Macmillan Cancer Support
Mercedes-Benz of Teesside continue to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support alongside the Donnelly family, after losing a much loved member of staff in late 2017, Martyn Donnelly.
Martyn's family have raised over £9000, and the staff and customers at Teesside recently enjoyed some fabulous homemade cakes, made by Martyn’s wife herself, adding to the total!

Porsche Centre leicester take on the TOUGH MUDDER for EMICS
In order to raise money for the amazingly selfless charity EMICS, some of our colleagues at Porsche Centre Leicester are taking part in TOUGH MUDDER on the 19th May at Belvoir Castle.
They're aiming to raise £6,000 for EMICS to be able to equip a new emergency response doctor with all the items required to volunteer.

Harrogate Volkswagen Nominated for Stray FM Local Hero Award
We're proud to say that Harrogate Volkswagen have been nominated for the Employer of the Year Award by Stray Fm in their annual Local Hero Awards.
The nomination comes due to the support that our colleagues at Harrogate Volkswagen give to local charity, Supporting Older People. Helping the charity with transport, the team at Harrogate Volkswagen regularly get suited and booted to escort elderly people to their Tea and Talk events.
The dealership also provide meeting space, support and clear the dealership of cars at Christmas to allow for a Christmas dinner and party with all of the trimmings!

Reading Audi Support Salvation Army Easter Egg Appeal
Reading Audi have been supporting Salvation Army this Easter, with Salvation Army providing over 800 hot meals during the school holidays to children who are less fortunate.
Reading Audi have donated to their Easter Egg Appeal, with over 50 children receiving an egg.

Adam Takes on a Skydive in Aid of Dementia UK
Adam Brightmore of Guy Salmon Land Rover Coventry will be braving a skydive this weekend in aid of Dementia UK!
A personal charity to Adam, who's Grandfather was recently diagnosed with dementia, the charity aims to further research into the disease, support people suffering from the condition and, ultimately, find a cure.

Sytner BMW and Sytner MINI Need Your Help This April
As part of our ongoing efforts to always give something back to the local community and various charity organisations, Sytner BMW and Sytner MINI are asking for your help on Facebook.
Throughout April, Sytner BMW and Sytner MINI will contribute £150 for every service booking made during the month. The donation will be sent to the chosen charity at the end of the month.
That's where you come in, which worthy causes should they contribute to? For Sytner BMW, the choices are the RSPCA or The Donkey Sanctuary. For Sytner MINI, the choices are The Air Ambulance or WWF.

Tollbar Warwick puts its best foot forward for Christine’s Crew
Tollbar Warwick are delighted to announce that they will be taking part in a 10k charity run, for the second year in a row.
They will be entering a team of 15 members into the Leamington Regency 10k at Newbold Terrace East in Leamington Spa.
The team will be running on Sunday 7 April in aid of Christine’s Crew, a local charity that offers emotional and financial support to those affected by cancer.
Mercedes-Benz of Weston-Super-Mare help out at Bournville Primary School
Colleagues from Mercedes-Benz of Weston-super-Mare have spent the morning helping teachers and parents plant 200 trees at the local Bournville Primary School.
The trees were donated to the school from the Woodland Trust and will add extra privacy and greenery to the school facilities.
All involved enjoyed the morning helping the school and look forward to continued involvement in the local community throughout 2019.
Two Colleagues from Guy Salmon Land Rover Bristol Prepare to Take on the Bristol 10k
Stacey and Christina from Guy Salmon Land Rover Bristol are running the Bristol 10k for Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a brighter future for people with CF and their families by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.

Mercedes-Benz of Teesside team reaches national football final in support of the Daisy Chain Project
A team of footballers from Mercedes-Benz of Teesside has made it through to the finals of the national Business Fives Champions League tournament.
The team will join four others from the Tees Valley area to have the chance to win a slice of the charity prize pot at the national final...worth over £4300.
The Mercedes-Benz of Teesside team is using the competition to add further support to their long term relationship with The Daisy Chain Project. They have so far raised £110 for the charity, and we are wishing them luck for the final which will take place in Edinburgh on 22nd March.

Land Rover Coventry Raise Money for the Lily Mae Foundations 9 Year Anniversary
Guy Salmon Land Rover Coventry have worked closely with the Lily Mae Foundation on multiple past occasions but were delighted to assist the charity on their 9th anniversary. The Lily Mae Foundation work to support parents and families after stillbirth or neonatal death.
In aid of the 9 year anniversary of The Lily Mae Foundation, Guy Salmon Land Rover Coventry held a charity event to raise awareness and money for the the foundation. Colleagues at the dealership baked cakes for a bake sale - supported by Stoneleigh Bakery - and held a competition with The Barn at Berryfields.
Entrants into the competition donated to the charity and took a guess at how many balloons had been used to fill a Land Rover Discovery - the prize being Berryfields vouchers. The highly successful competition raised a total of £308.10 for the fantastic cause.
Rebeka Prepares to take on the Pacaya Volcano, Guatemala.
Rebeka Cohen, one of Sytner Group’s Internal Auditors, will soon be taking on a gruelling marathon in Guatemala that’ll even see her run over a volcano!
The marathon, which is organised by the GivingWorks Impact Marathon Foundation, will raise money for Guatemalan local charities that are working to combat current issues in the country, following last year’s disastrous volcanic eruption. These challenges can range from after-school care and lack of nutritious lunches to violence and crime.

Mercedes-Benz and smart of Swindon's continued support for Wiltshire Air Ambulance
Members of the team from Mercedes-Benz and smart of Swindon present a cheque to local charity, Wiltshire Air Ambulance, following a number of fundraising events at the dealership. From cake sales, sponsored events and customer engagement.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a life saving charity offering emergency service to the people of Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.

Guy Salmon Land Rover Northampton hold Work Experience Day
Guy Salmon Land Rover Northampton recently organised a work experience day with the Northampton Satins HITZ students. 13 keen students arrived in the morning eager to learn about as many elements of the business as possible.
Throughout the day, the students received a tour around the business with Oliver Mann - Head of Business at Guy Salmon Land Rover Northampton - a visit to the prep room, a chance to photograph some cars in the photo booth and even time to explore an armoured vehicle!
HITZ are an important partner of Land Rover. Their aim is to equip young people with the motivation and skills to make a positive contribution to society, whilst also leading happy and healthy lives.
Stafford Volkswagen support St Katharine's Hospice
Our Stafford Volkswagen dealership have donated two cars to St Katharine's Hospice, which will be used by the fabulous community nurses to visit families around the county.
Katharine House Hospice aim to enable patients and those close to them to live life as fully as possible and make the most of the time that they have. They offer a welcoming, warm and safe environment, where hope is kept alive and laughter is often heard.
Beginning as the 'Stafford Hospice at Home' in 1989, the Katharine House Hospice Day Car Unit opened in 1993. Going from strength-to-strength, they now have over 200 staff and 600+ volunteers supporting the local community.
Guy Salmon support Walsgrave Hospital
Guy Salmon Land Rover Coventry delivered 60 teddies to Walsgrave Hospital on Christmas Eve for all those unfortunate children who will not be able to spend Christmas at home.
The children and their parents were so great full and this made the whole experience even more rewarding.
Matt - General Sales Manager at Guy Salmon Land Rover Coventry - took on the role of Santa very well with his cart full of teddies! Merry Christmas everyone!
Sytner Group Head Office holds Christmas Dinner for Orchard Day Centre
On Thursday, residents from the Orchard Day Centre joined us at Penman Way for a lovely Christmas dinner. The day, organised by Sytner Group and Age UK, was designed to help combat loneliness at Christmas.
Throughout the meal, we enjoyed chatting with the residents, playing bingo, exchanging presents and even had members of the Head Office team and BMW Contact Centre put on a fantastic carol singing performance!

The Sytner Group Compliance Team recently put bakeoff to shame when they helped residents at Leonard Cheshire in Sileby to make festive biscuits and edible gifts for friends and family.
Leonard Cheshire support individuals to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability. Led by people with experience of disability, they are at the heart of local life and work to offer opportunity and support to those in need.
Nottingham Audi spread some Christmas cheer
In an attempt to add some Christmas cheer to those children that will be spending their Christmas in hospital, our wonderful Nottingham Audi team have visited their local hospital, Queens Medical Centre.
The team gifted patients with Audi bears in the hope of bringing a smile to their faces. These cute and cuddly bears were delivered by Head of Business, Matthew Mills and General Sales Manager, Duncan Adams and were extremely well received by both patients and nurses.
A lovely gesture this festive season!
Mercedes-Benz Contact Centre staff complete Big SleepOut
A team of staff from our contact centre are now well on their way to raising their target of £1000 for Swindon based homeless charity, Threshold.
They spent a long, cold and windy night taking part in the Big SleepOut event, whilst talking to people who shared their experiences of living for years on the streets due to unfortunate and often heart breaking circumstances.
The contact centre team chose the support Threshold throughout 2018 with various events, and aim to raise over £1000 in total.
Congratulations to Slough Audi
After spending the year completing a variety of different charity events for amazing charities, Slough Audi are celebrating their Just Giving Page being one of the most successful during November 2018.
Out of a total of 16,855 fundraisers on the site, Slough Audi were proud to be named within the top 5%. This comes thanks to various different events that they've held - one of the most recent being a static cycle for Children in Need that raised an amazing £1,189.
We'd like to extend our congratulations to all of our colleagues at the dealership that helped to raise money throughout the year. Thank you for your wonderful efforts and here's to more of the same in 2019!
Sytner Mercedes-Benz of Teesside support Cleveland Mountain Rescue
Cleveland Mountain Rescue have been making the most of the GLC that was provided to them by Mercedes-Benz of Teesside!
Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team provides a search and rescue service on the northern half of the North York Moors in the North East of England. Their operational area covers about 1000 square kilometers with their 50 voluntary members being on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
Nottingham Audi Raise over £800 for Macmillan Cancer Support with a Cake Sale
Nottingham Audi recently held a cake sale in support of Macmillan Cancer Support - a charity that aims to help those diagnosed with cancer to live life as fully as possible.
The whole team got involved, with the Sales Admin team and Reception staff managing the cake sale and creating cakes that looked and tasted great! The dealership would like to extend a special thank you to them all.
Kind donations from customers and colleagues helped the dealership to raise £824 for their chosen charity ‘Macmillan’ - which, we're sure you'll agree, is an amazing total. The team loved raising money for Macmillan Cancer support and cannot wait to start raising again for such an incredible charity.
Sytner Newport BMW Raise £245 for Children in Need
Sytner Newport pulled out all the stops in support of Children in Need and celebrated with a day of fun activities.
Alongside a specially decorated BMW X2 - that wore various Pudsey the Bear decals - the dealership held a dress down day for colleagues that wanted to pay a small contribution, a cake sale for customers and colleagues to enjoy and a special breakfast that was put together by the management team at the dealership.
The day was a great success and the overall result was a fantastic total of £245 that could be donated directly to Children in Need to assist the charity in completing more of the very important work that they do.

Mercedes-Benz of Newcastle staff raise £570 for Mat Davis Foundation
The team at Mercedes-Benz of Newcastle have been busy raising money for the Mat Davis foundation. Money raised for the foundation goes to support young people aged 18-30 who have been diagnosed with cancer in the Warwickshire area.
The team at Newcastle wanted to help the foundation by organising a raffle with a difference – a one winner raffle! All staff were encouraged to bring in as many items as possible to contribute to the prize table, and to buy a strip of tickets for a chance to win the lot!
During the one winner raffle, £570 was raised for the Mat Davis foundation.
Mercedes-Benz of Weston-Super-Mare Spooky Cake Sale
Staff and customers at Mercedes-Benz of Weston-super-Mare got into the spirit of Halloween with a spooky cake sale! Cakes and sweets were available from reception all day and all proceeds donated to the Weston RNLI.
Originally established in 1882, the Weston RNLI Station now operates two lifeboats and has been awarded six awards for gallantry. Rescuing animals and people alike, we're sure you'll agree they're a very worthy cause!
Bradford Audi supports One In A Million charity
The team at our Bradford Audi dealership are very proud to support their local charity One In A Million, with them recently helping out with their One In A Million 2018 awards ceremony.
One In A Million are a charity that support disadvantaged children and young people, aged between 5- 19 years. They help to deliver formal and informal education through Sports, Arts and Enterprise themed programmes . They aim to break cycles of deprivation, celebrating and valuing young lives.
Craig McHugh, Executive of One In A Million says "On behalf of all at One In A Million, thank you to you and all the team at Bradford Audi for supporting our annual STARS Awards once again this year! Your support adds so much value to our evening and our young people absolutely love it!"
Guy Salmon Jaguar Northampton support Cynthia Spencer Hospice at their recent Charity Golf Day
Since 2007, the Club has been home to the well-established Charity Golf days organised by Mick. Held in memory of his late wife Lydia, they have raised over £40,000 for this well-deserving charity. The Fundraising Manager said:
“We would like to thank Mick and all his family and friends who helped organise the day, as well as Northampton Golf Club for being such great hosts. Mick’s golf day has now become such an established event in the Club’s and the Hospice calendar, our appreciation also goes out to the 100+ golfers who helped make the day such a fantastic success”
The day was a huge success and a fantastic £3,887 was raised. Guy Salmon are proud to offer our continued support to the Hospice.
Tollbar Warwick sponsors London 2 Paris 2018 in aid of Cure Leukaemia
Local cyclist Mark Nicholas who underwent a stem-cell transplant to beat leukaemia, approached Tollbar Warwick to help raise £14,000 for Cure Leukaemia. After undergoing life-saving treatment he took on a London to Paris cycle challenge to raise money for the charity which helped him make it through.
The 500km London to Paris cycle challenge took place from 20 - 24th September 2018 and Tollbar Warwick were proud to have their logo displayed on the team’s bespoke cycling jersey.
Conditions were very challenging for the cyclists over the four days, but they all prevailed to make their glorious arrival into the heart of Paris in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. The event is set to raise over £100,000 for Cure Leukaemia.
From Camberely to Paris in Three Days
Alan Davis, Head Of Business at Guy Salmon Ascot, teamed up with 5 other keen cyclists from the Camberley Rugby Club to take on the challenge of cycling from Camberley to Paris, in aid of the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
With 200 miles to cover in less than three days, it was a challenging ride but the team pushed hard and managed to make it victoriously to Paris within the time.

Bentley Leicester take on Autumn Wolf Run
Well done to the team at Bentley and Lamborghini Leicester, who recently completed the gruelling Wolf Run Challenge!
The Wolf Run is an approx. 10k off-road run featuring a series of man-made and natural obstacles located throughout the course.The team trecked their way through pud ponds, swan across freezing rivers, buried through deep, dark tunnels and climbed the toughest of heights.
The team undertook this crazy challenge for Prostate Cancer UK and managed to raise a fantastic £440.
Audi Wakefield support Pedal for Parkinson's
Holly Clough, PA to Jack Bryson, our Head of Business at Wakefield Audi has been involved with the charity Parkinson's UK for the past 10 years, helping to raise awareness and fund-raise for an amazing cause.
This year the challenge was to cycle from Leeds to Leeds, taking in the 4 capital cities of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales - that means 977 miles in just 11 days!
The event took months of planning and was a huge challenge for everyone involved but has managed to raise over £11,000 (and growing) for Parkinson's UK.
Liverpool Volkswagen - Ruth's 5K Colour Run
On Saturday 21st July, Ruth, a Sales Executive at our Liverpool Volkswagen centre ran the 5k Colour Obstacle Rush to raise money for Down's Syndrome Association.
With Ruth's sister Faith having Downs Syndrome, this is a charity extremely close to her heart. Ruth is keen to do all she can to help (and) raise money for this great cause. Ruth, Faith and the family rely a great deal on the help of charities like Down's Syndrome Association and are extremely grateful for the donations they've received.

Tollbar Warwick Volvo support the Duchenne Dash Max
The Duchenne Dash is a gruelling 24 hour bike ride from London to Paris where riders take on an amazing challenge to help children with DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy).
The riders started at Harlequins RFC in London on Friday 8th June and arrived just a day later, under the Eiffel Tower. The team was accompanied by physios, medics, mechanics and support vehicles and we were delighted to provide a Volvo XC90 to support this tremendous event.
Duchenne UK is working to find a cure with the aim to end Duchenne in 10 years. Now in its sixth year and last year the event has raised over one million pounds!
